Manga here is great to look at here in Frances….except I don’t understand any of it with the main and probably clear issue that may be present, it’s all in French! A slight obstruction in this race of manga that…doesn’t…actually make sense if I think about it and anyway this is a journey of discovery not a destination (Well reading would be the actual destination).

So what in all of this craziness of destinations, discovery, cool looking manga and me being able to read yet not understand a word? Does this DOFUS thing mean? Well on the off that I know I would’ve said sooner…..I literally have no idea if it’s a all encompassing franchise composed of trading cards, a online web game, a manga, magazine and some other stuff that leaves me with a case of “I don’t actually known”. This being unfortunate as the manga of the series seems to some kind of gag based….so might be parodying the main part of….I don’t know ok.

This is embarrassing to only have vague certainty on this franchise (If it is a franchise) and not have a decent idea of what is part of it beyond what’s been presented to me in a magazine that court my eye when shopping the day before. “Either buy or lose out” I thought when standing at the checkout and so I let myself be pulled in by this one magazine that was called (you guessed it!) DOFUS….now problematically this leads to the confusion on what the hell did I buy and what the hell am I suppose to think “This could be good?” or “Maybe a little impulsive?” or even “It had anime characters scattered throughout”, I quite like the third one and so I’ll go with that.

The manga of this franchise *Finger quote* as mentioned is gag based. A little surreal in places but I got into the art style of chaotically cute. The storyline I have to be honest is out of my reach from the pure and simple fact that it’s in French, so bad choice of review on my part here…..but there’s a Catgirl so I’m happy *Smiles*.

Somehow I’m really hoping this stuff is in English and I’ve just had the chance to discover it here first. An online game and manga what else could I ask for? A lot like maybe the “Elfen Lied” manga to be released in English….release it, please ADV!
