Homeless dogs are everywhere, not only in America, but in foreign countries as well. Our soldiers are befriending them overseas and are now taking action to bring their pets home with them. These animals are a God Sent, they are a joy to all, and their love is unconditional.
I write this story because I have read about the soldiers who are in other countries fighting to get their “best friends” back to the states, to their home. I know on a personal level, how it gets played out; of course there is a lot of paper work and quarantine time; and in the end the dogs just wants love. Some of these pets come back to the states, as a special needs animal, they have broken bones or nerve damage; but he or she is someone’s “best friend”; and deserve a chance for a better life.
Photo taken with my own digital camera
Here is a photo of a dog that I am caring for until her hero comes home and she is as sweet as pie, and just as loyal as a dog can be, with unconditional love. She gets so excited when I return home from being out a few hours, that she pees, of course as a previous dog owner I know how to handle situations such as that. My point is she is absolutely a God Sent animal, providing joy wherever she goes, whether in this country or another. Looking at her photo, I am glad I was available to be a part of her world; I also know when the times comes for her to be reunited with her owner, my heart will break.
As for all the animals in shelters, and those that are homeless, if owners were to become more responsible by neutering their pet, perhaps we can slowly cut down on the need to build more shelters for these lonely pets.
