I came home from shopping today, and what did I find?
A religious flyer stuck in my door! Why do certain religions
find it necessary to save my soul from Satan? I have my own spiritual beliefs.
I do not believe in satan, so therefore, I do not need to be “saved” from him.
My soul and where it is going is my responsibility, and since I am a reasonable adult,
I can place my faith and my soul into any belief I deem fit for me.
Eternal damnation does not appeal to me, nor does the dogma attached to the christian belief.
Too many people have been killed in the name of God.
My Goddess does not kill nor want anyone else to kill in her name.
I too have the trinity. Goddess, God, and God reborn.
I do not worship in or give my money to the church.
They are only out for profit. I do give my time, money and energy to the ones
who truly need it. I believe in mother earth and the balance of all things, good and evil.
Yes there is evil in my religion, but it’s usually in the form of uninformed or uncaring people.
Do you want me to show up on your doorstep with my pentagram and herbs telling you you’re going to burn in hell?
That will never happen because hell is a myth in my belief.
Keep your Hell and your opinions off my doorstep, I’ll keep my thoughts and beliefs off yours.
