Facebook experience

          When I first heard about facebook, I did not care so much about it.  That was back in 2007, when I’m still addicted to a different socializing network.  But, things get boring with the same old internet sites, so I decided to experiment.  I made myself a new e-mail address and then I used it for facebook.  Back then, I wasn’t enjoying, because I don’t know what to do with a facebook account.  That time I just uploaded some photos, then I started adding a few friends.  Finally, I tried using some of the applications.  After a few more “log ins”, then I got the hang of using facebook.

          Each Internet Socializing Network has unique features to entice the web audiences and facebook doesn’t exempt itself.  In facebook you can post all your activities in your “wall”, which is like your profile and any of your friends can see it.  You could write anything you like, and then your friends could write comments on your post.  You inform your friends about anything you do by your messages or posts using this feature.  My friends post all sorts of things like their vacation trips, videos from work or in their home.  This feature can also provide other important matters.  For example, if you are a group leader or a person who manages something and your members depend on you much, Facebook could be beneficial for your group work.  People can disseminate information easily by typing it all in the “what’s on your mind?” bar on the home page and click “share” to have it published.  You can hand out information about a meeting, due date on projects etc. in no time.    With that, you can also attach links that you may want your members to see in other web pages.

But if you are not a manager or a group leader and you just want to share friends some fun stuff, like your favourite video on Youtube, a funny photo, the music you’re currently listening to, online gifts, exciting events, and challenging games, by all means you are welcome in facebook – sharing is what it’s all about. 

Facebook evaluates those users who share pornography in facebook, because kids who use the internet sometimes have facebook and sharing a lot of media especially with explicit content is not suitable for children.  Those people who organize facebook ban such users, so parents will not worry.

To top it off, I will admit that the reason why I open my facebook account all the time is because of the game applications.  I enjoy playing with the games facebook has like games in playfish, zinga and others.  It is not childish though, because some games are quite difficult.  And, life wouldn’t be as fun as it could be without some leisure and entertainment. J
