My first black out experience.

Okay let me fill you in.

Today Victoria and I decided to go to the Four Oaks pool to hang out. My mother and I picked Victoria up from her house around 1:50pm. When we arrived at the pool, we met up with Maddie, Kaitlyn and Cassidy. Victoria, Maddie and I stood around and talk for a little while. Then after a few minutes decided that it was hot, so we took off our clothes and jumped in the refreshing pool. Maddie and I went off the diving board a few times while Victoria talked to Kaitlyn and Cassidy. Soon after enjoying some childish play, Victoria and I decided to get out, to tan and gossip. (we haven’t seen each other in a while) So we get out and lie on our chairs and begin to gossip about boys, clothes and many other thing girls enjoy talking about. After we had finished filling one another in on our boyfriend gossip, we pulled out our iPods to listen to some music. We shared my iPod for a while then had a random idea to listen to some harmless scream-o music on Victoria’s Ipod. After laying out for about an hour we became bored and hunger. So of course we decided to go get some food. We slowly made our way over, after putting our iPods up and getting our money. When we reached the counter Victoria ordered her hot dog with ketchup first. Following her order, I began to feel really light headed and woozy. Then everything started to go black. Like when you get up to fast from sitting in a chair for a long time. That’s the kind of black I saw. So I tried to look at Victoria and said ” Hey Vee I feel kinda light headed.”. I leaded against the counter hoping it would pass like normal, but it didn’t. In fact it got worse. From what I understand (because I am unable to remember what happened fully) I feel backwards onto Seth Williams. My eyes rolling to the back of my head. I slowly made my way down to the concrete floor and laid on my side. I was lying on my left side when I hit my head really hard on the ground. Then I began to twitch. The next thing I remember is waking up, feeling like I had been asleep for hours. I turned onto my back and there was Angela Bailey (the lifeguard) looking at me along with everyone else that had been standing around me when I was feeling so lightheaded. I slowly got up, and made my way to a bench. There Angela had to give me a head to toe check. So I wiggled my toes, flapped my legs, moved my arms, flicked my fingers and moved my head around. I felt fine. Then I realized Victoria wasn’t around me. I asked Maddie and she said that when I had fallen back on to Seth and my eyes rolled back she felt sick. So Victoria told Maddie to hold her hot dog and she went to the ladies restroom. I asked Maddie if she was okay, and Maddie didn’t know. Then Dallas and Kaylee came over and Maddie told them the story. They asked where Victoria was. Maddie told them and they went to check on her. They came back and told the lifeguard that they needed to go check on her. So Angela did, only to find that Victoria had had a panic attack and blacked out as well. The lifeguard had told me to stay out of the sun, stay seated and sip on the cup of water she had brought me. So I did. When I really wanted to go check on Victoria. After a few minutes I decided that I felt fine and was able to go check on my friend. When I got in the girls room I saw Victoria lying on her back on the bench. So I go over to her and ask her if she is okay. She replied saying she was, and I said that we needed to get her out of the hot and humid bathroom. But she didn’t want to move. So finally Mr.Thompson (Trey Thompson’s father) came in and helped her out. So she ended up sitting in a lawn chair under the shelter while I sat next to her on a bench. We ate two hot dogs each and sipped on our water. We are both fine now, and all I have is a small knot on my forehead where I had hit my head. So yeah just thought I would tell you of my first time blacking out. Plus the fact that two best friends blacked out on the same day around the same time. Pretty cool if you ask me, but now you know the story.
