As I sat an enjoyed my dinner tonight, thinking about the scouting meeting I have to attend, after which I must go to work; I get a telephone call from a Bank.

Now my credit is shot and I really don’t care anymore, but this was one credit card we, that is my husband and I make sure is paid monthly in case of an emergency.

 So tonight because I was one dollar short on my payment, which thank goodness was on time, but they still charged me thirty-nine dollars late fee! I ask the woman if she was joking, she replied no madam the computer does not recognized partial payment and thus is the reason for my call. I sat there for a second totally blown away, we are talking a dollar; and a computer is telling her what to do, and what to say. My goodness, what has this world come to and how if ever are we going to correct it. For a DOLLAR! I am truly beside myself.

So now with a payment sent up for next month, I must make sure the money is in my account, otherwise, they will charge me thirty-nine dollars twice, once for October and one for November. The banks have become insane, as I must struggle to keep my sanity.
