Lat year during our sembreak, my best friend and I decided to have an outing just to have fun. We like to have the outing before the sembreak ends but the problem is we don’t know where to have it and we don’t have enough money to have a GOOD outing!!!

To afford our GOOD outing, we sell some ice cubes and ice candy in my house. We have little profit and still can’t afford the outing expenses. We were so sad. The day after my helper said that she wanted to visit her sister on the week after. When she said that I remembered that she told me once that on their place there are waterfalls ,so I asked her if my bestfriend and I can go with her. She happily agreed. A week later, she brought us to the terminal too early because it is Sunday morning and there are a lot of people at the terminal. After 2 hours of waiting, my helper’s nephew came and he let us ride to his “habal-habal” for free. We then ride to his “habal-habal.” It is fun to ride a habal-habal because there are a lot of people can ride in a single motorcycle but when we reached the mountains of Toledo, I felt scared because the road was to “thin” that only the habal-habal can fit to it and were too many for a single motorcycle! My helper’s nephew said that there’s nothing to worry about because he knew how to drive a “habal-habal”. In our way we passed a lot of forests, mountains and rivers. We also shoot some pictures. 

After two hours from the terminal we reached a barrio. We then stopped and walked for three minutes to the house of my helper/yaya. We met a lot of carabaos and goats. When we reached the house of my yaya her sister prepared some foods and fruits. We save a lot of money because the food is free! We really eat a lot. After lunch, we went at the back of the house and we saw a river. There are a lot of women washing some clothes. My yaya told us that we can have a bath at the waterfalls. We then go our way to the waterfalls. When we reach the point, we saw the waterfalls but we need to go down the cliff before we reached the waterfalls. It’s so hard to go down because there are a lot of shrubs, trees and stones. My bestfriend got bruises because she slipped off. She did not hold the rope going down. It is so fun. There are a lot of bloopers and funny moments. We finally reached the waterfalls. We all have fun there. My yaya brought a picnic basket full of fruits and rice cakes. We have a picnic beside the waterfalls. It is already four in the afternoon that we decided to go home.

My best friend and I are very happy and we have fun because the trip is so great and most of all we don’t spend a single centavo in our outing!We ride “habal-habal” again!
