Sort of a longer poem about my "getaway place"

That’s it, i can’t take it anymore
So i find myself climbing out my window
Avoiding everyone in the next room
I start walking
To where, i have no clue
I just go wherever my feet take me

I see all the beautiful houses
adorable little children in front yards that have perfect green grass
playing tag, surrounded by white picket fences

I feel cyclones of leaves dancing around my feet
Maybe they’re trying to show me something useful
That’s all i need right now

I Hear cars beeping at me, screaming for me to stop
I keep walking, pedestrians first, right?

I don’t need the drivers inside stopping to ask why this look is upon my face
Or about this newport in my hand

I turn another block
smelling grilled food all around me
perfect day for that too

That’s another bonus of my “getaway place”
The gorgeous scenery takes my mind off of bad happenings

When i reach my house again, i climb back through the window
I get in my bed
and start this poem
