I might be getting braces soon, and trust me, I know the pain they may carry.
For those of you that don’t know, my teeth are horribly crooked. I look like some freaking crocodile. I have one tooth that is growing behind two other teeth. And it freakin hurts like shit!! So, I might be getting braces O.O
Although I know the pain it carries for the first few days knowing I have three good friends with braces. They’ve told me how much it can hurt, and I seriously don’t want braces, even if it is for the good of me.
Besides, I’ll look like some ugly freak, I mean I don’t see any of my three friends getting any girls with them. They just keep clinging to me!!
I’m also really gullible. My best friend told me you can get it in blue, which is my favorite color, so I readily agreed to get it. Five minutes later, I realized I had just shit myself. Stupidity unleashed.
I might be looking like Prince Charming in the next two- three years if I get my teeth fixed, but then again, for those first two days I don’t want to go through the ‘early moments of hell.’
What started this sudden nervousness to get braces was when one of my friends who had braces decided to use a toothpick to clean his teeth in the middle of Math class. Turns out he used a divider (from a geometry box) to clean his teeth. What a smart young boy. A while later, he jumped up from his seat with a piece of metal sticking out of his mouth and blood gushing from his upper jaws. Next week he didn’t attend school and the week after, he looked completely different because he had to get his messed up braces extracted and new ones to replace it. Moral of the story: don’t use a divider to clean your teeth. They invented floss for a reason!!
If anyone can give me a few tips to the start of your braces please tell me! Anyway, goodbye for now! Many more posts to come!
