This is a short excerpt of my personal experiences, to be followed by others, from the beginning of my journey. It’s so funny how things begin and where they go.

I guess it all started back some place around 1959… no I’m not that old but I think what happened in those days was the beginning of my downward spiral.

“Gloria! Gloria! you need to get together what you can I’ll be back in an hour to get you but if I dont make it you meet me at the place we talked about, you wait there as till I come and when I do we’ll get movin on from there.”  John had sweat rolling down his face, his skin had a green hue to it like fear and adrenalin had set in and nauseated his whole body. He knew at this point he had gone too far, but what could he do at this point.

Gloria’s heart broke as her husband ran out the back of the house into the black abyss that was the dark texas night.  But at a glance her carnal instinct kicked in as she saw the headlight coming down the gravel drive from the main road.  She could hear dogs barking and good ole’ boy’s yipping screams of revenge into the night. John had taken one of theirs and now they come lookig for him.

Gloria could still feel the bllod dripping down her cheekbone and her lips throbbing where they had been busted open, but nothing caused as much discomfort as the filthy smell of their sweaty bodies that lingered on her skin. Those two bastards had taken her sense of pride Gloria had never experienced the touch of any other man but John until tonight.  They took that away from her and now as the headlights drew near she realized that even though they lay dead, they were still trying to destroy her soul… because of them there was a posse coming for her man and Gloria knew she had to give him a running start. After all he had killed for her…
