How recent events can affect related article traffic.
I have this article that I posted back in June of 2007, which, for a while, averaged about 40 cents a month on Triond, hosted by Socyberty. Over the months the profits eventually made their way up to 7.00 a month, an most recently, on June 1-3, 2009, profits spiked. Page views went from 200 a day to over 1200! The article is titled Bermuda Triangle: Facts and Theories; look it up if you want—I'll make even more money!Well...to get to the point, I discovered a phenomenon that relates to world news and articles on the Internet. It appears that after an well known event (such as the one mentioned above) occurs, people, in their quest for knowledge—turn to the Internet,
go to a search engine like Google, and run searches that relate to it.
In the case of the news about the tragedy of the Air France flight 447, people had plenty of questions. Apparently many of them like controversy, because a Google search on air france gave these results.
As can be seen, people even considered terrorism as a theory for the cause.
From this you can imagine...people are good at spotting potential conspiracy theories.
The news that the flight crashed in the Atlantic, between South America and Europe,
apparently led many people to think that the Bermuda Triangle had something to do with it. As can be seen here, people searched for it,
and because the Internet ALWAYS provides, people wrote editorials and blogged about it,
so people found what they wanted; causing an increased interest in the Bermuda Triangle mystery—thus leading some of that group to my article. Look at this...
The visits on my article spiked on the day of the plane crash(June 1), and continued to rise until
it dropped again sharply on June 3-4.So there you have it! It may be the next big “secret” to profit on Triond! Unfortunately its probably not much of a secret as it is obvious, when you think about it; but first you have to THINK about it! By reading this, you already are. If you post on
Triond for to make money, this might be something to think about.
