This is a method I used to stop smoking.

I was a seasoned smoker in my early 30’s at the time and smoking more than a packet of cigarettes a day.I had friends who were in the same boat drinking on a social basis and drinking coffee cigarettes seemed to go hand in hand but it would smell it would be in your hair and clothes. I had had enough and had tried in vain a couple of times. You had a link with friends who smoked so it was difficult I had almost given up after almost two weeks but gave in and asked for one from as friend.

Once I was again with a group of friends and my youngest brother and we ran in the park round an oval I caved in in my first lap and I was told by him my brother you gotta do something about it and I did. I proceeded to give up cold turkey style replacing smokes with fruit consumption even though I put on weight it was well worth it. After two weeks I could tell I could do it so I kept it up for three months so I was well and truly on the way.It felt so good and I was soon exercising and run those laps I couldn’t earlier, from not being able to run one lap I was running twenty five laps at the most and doing 5-10kilometre runs which would equate in old measurement to about six miles a day. It was so good early in the morning and changing my diet and taking up training in martial arts and boxing whilst not for everyone just needed activity. The weight reduction was great.
