Who doesn’t, right?

We all have things we want, but feel for one reason or another that we cannot have. I’m here to tell you that you can! It’s true! I’ll give you the key… it is simply a matter of choice. The Law of Attraction works! But, however, in order for it to work, you must first work on the inside… of you! Your thoughts! For those of you that have trouble seeing the relationship between the reality around you and your thoughts, do this:

For 2-3 days, try to consider keeping track of how the day goes. Carry a little notebook with you, and just jot         down the parts of the day that stand out to you – good or bad. At the same time, throughout your day, try to         keep track of your wandering thoughts. We all have thoughts that wander throughout the day, but how               many of us actually pay attention to them and how they affect our mood throughout the day? Spending a             couple days trying to keep track of the events in your day as well as your thoughts and emotions as you “go         through the motions” of your day can prove to be a challenge, but after a couple days of paying a little extra         attention to your thoughts, you will open up many doors that all lead to self-improvement in some form or             another, guaranteed!

After a couple successful days of keeping this type of journal, you should be able to see a kind of pattern. Negative thoughts occur around the same times as negative events, and positive thoughts occur around positive events, or you find some other ways things are related, like being worried about being late to work and then getting a speeding ticket. When you’ve got the keeping track part down, and you can see the pattern in the events, try paying a little more attention to how you react to said events. Try and think of how you handled a negative event that weaseled it’s way in while you were trying to think positive. Did you try to push it away, or did you let it pass? Either way, write down what you can. Be as specific as you can. Pay close attention, and be honest with yourself on how you felt and what you did to change the situation. Just do this, and see where you find yourself. Are you seeing areas of your thoughts you could stand to change if you knew how it could benefit you?
