I realise that these icons are not just icons for their talents and achievements, but because they were beautiful, glamorous women, Audrey Hepburn was a model before she became a movie star so that just goes to show what impact they can have on younger girls who strive for beauty and fashion, even though they may not know who they are. But the point I’m trying to make it that it’s not good enough. I don’t expect icons would be happy in knowing that they were being carried around on a number of different products by people who don’t have the faintest idea of who or what they were. I suppose it’s simply that I’m a huge fan myself and these people seem very ignorant and pretentious when they appear to know things they don’t or pretend to be fans because it’s fashionable when really they haven’t a clue…
