A short out look on what I have had and what I could give.

My life with animals.

Ever since I was little my life and dreams have been full of as many creatures I could get hold of.

I just feel better if my life is full of unconditional love and that’s what you get with animals.

Oh I am under no elusion that they want you as a leader or provider of food but from the little thrush left an orphan that I hand fed, right up to a pig that was no longer wanted, I also took something very special to my heart.

I have had horses, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, gerbils, dogs, birds (rescued) and a crab. I don’t think I missed any out.

My ideal home would have land and out buildings and be big enough to home all the old animals people didn’t want.

But of course I would also have to make enough money to look after them properly! So who knows one day I may become good enough at writing to make some money to go towards my dream.

I have a sister like you…she has three dogs, two rabbits, two guinea pigs and at least thirty unwanted, dropped off, abandoned cats. She doesn’t always have the money, but she makes sure they are well fed and well taken care of. She loves animals and feels that if she didn’t give them a home, then who would. I commend her and now I commend you for your dream. May it come true. Thanks for sharing your little story/poem. I enjoyed reading it.

you sound like my brother and sister-in-law, They can’t have kids so the have anamils, last i heard they had 23 birds (Including his pigeons, finches, a cockatoo, 2 cockateils, and phesants) they have 3 cats and are down to one dog (the prinsess she is so spoiled) 2 ferrits, four snakes, a gecko,(I think the teranchula finally died) and a horse she just recently recued. So never give up on your dreams if you can reach your dream you can have it. all you need is a home in the country lol :)

So true Collette, we have had two tries at buying a fishery with lots of land so it could earn lots of money from the fishermen and fish breeding and I could keep all my animals but the last time, a couple of months ago we had our house valued and because of the recession it just didn’t give us enough for a deposit!:-( and could find no one willing to lend us the extra £80,000 we needed.
