If everyone had a million dollars there wouldn’t be any sorrow because families would have enough for their payments, loans, grocery bills, and etc. If a grade seven students had a million dollars they would use the money for a useless cause or they would use the money that can make a difference. I would give money to the charity, save some for university, and the rest I would give to my parents. I would give some money to the charity because I would love to lend a helping hand to someone who is in need of some help. There is a charity called Children’s Hospital Foundation which is a charity in which 27% of the donation goes to research into childhood diseases, 3% for Sunny Hill Centre for Children, 6% goes to Health Promotion and Education, 6% is for specialized equipment, and 58% of the donation goes toward specific endowments and designations. Even though this charity is for kids, I would donate money to any charity that has something to do with that can help others. “Set your heart on doing something good. Do it over and over again, and you will be filled with joy and happiness”. Everyone wants to be happy any joyful, but being happy for a good cause if even better, so I would do something good to get something good in return. I have already started to save some money for university, but I want to go to UBC, which is very expensive, so I should save up every single penny I can so that I won’t trouble my parents after. I would save about $30,000 for UBC. If I save up money and I go to a good university which can lead to me to a good career, which is medical, I can have a nice pay. If I don’t waste those million dollars the millions dollars can gradually turn into two million and slowly even higher. For sure, I wouldn’t keep that much money all towards myself and half a million would be all for my parents. I love parents and I won’t want them to face any hard time. In conclusion, all the money I save would be for helping one another in some way. For example, I would be helping children by giving money to the Children’s Hospital foundation, saving money for university would help my parents, and by giving the rest of the money to my parents would help our whole family. I hope you think before you spend an amount of money for a useless cause next time you go to the stores to buy shoes or anything else.
