If only I were free…my opinion on the world on what I believe would be good for the world through the purification of politicans who start needless wars and the poison of racism.

If Only I Were Free…

Free… a word that plagues my mind almost every day. Free…a word that has sparked wars, death, destruction, jubilation and…contemplation.

If only I were free, I could break from the shackles that have chained me to the ground and held me back all these years, preventing me from becoming who I really am. All my life, I have been wrought upon by a seemingly endless list of rules, laws and sanctions to restrain me and become what others deem as ‘acceptable’ in society. If only the world was rid of all of these restrictions brought upon by politicians, teachers, parents and even friends, I would be free.

If only I were free, I would create a real society in which I deem free for myself and for others. If only I were free, I would wipe the world clean of the scum whom we call politicians. These people who have initiated wars that have killed countless of millions of lives for a pitiful cause only sought for their own personal benefit. I myself have read numerous books that are ‘anti-war’ from novels ranging from Remarque’s famed “All Quiet on the Western Front” (which I thought to simply be a masterpiece) novels from Sven  and countless documentaries on war, which have helped me form an extremely strong anti-war opinion.  If I were free, my first aim would be to stop the dehumanising of men, women and children caused by the death and destruction caused by war. I would instigate a plan of peace that would prevent the trickle of violence from man turning into a tsunami, sucking in unnecessary and innocent lives into it.

If only I were free, I would rid the world from the wretched poison of racism. Man has been tarnished with the stain of prejudice since his creation; he seems oblivious to the fact that all humans are equal and identical to one another in every respect. All these stereotypes and fundamental ‘flaws’ are judged purely upon the skin colour of another human being, which conveys the naivety and childishness of man’s racism. If I were free I would eradicate the world of racism, which I have witnessed been put on others shoulders including myself and instead, introduce a better world that thrives on equality.

If only I were free, I would break free of my shackles and rid the world of needless wars sparked by politicians and the pollutant; racism.
