This is about the process that high schools have go through to hopefully get into there college of their choice.
We also found the books store and talked a very student there. She explained her SAT score was below average but her ACT score were good and that is how she got accepted to Bloomsburg University.
There was one drawback when we were looking for the admissions building we were outside saw lots of students walking passed us and I said can someone help me point out the admissions building? The students kept on walking right passed so therefore I said it louder and finally a young guy bless his heart stop and helped me locate the admissions building. My daughter did not like those students who disregarded me. I felt I was oblivious to them.
Now the applications process there are not as many questions as one would think. But the key to remember is to have College Board School code for your High School which is on SAT score. The other part many colleges are looking for dates when you took the SAT and Act test and the dates if are going to take them again. Also note some colleges want the actual numbers for Math and Reading for example East Stroudsburg University wants this therefore my daughter is waiting till she gets back her second set of scores back before she sends out East Stroudsburg University application. It takes roughly 3 weeks to get your SAT test results back.
Be aware the some colleges or universities want you to do their application on-line while other will allow you down load the applications and mail it in with the check for the application fee. If you are doing on-line you need a debit card or credit card such as visa or master charge.
Once the colleges have your applications and transcripts and SAT or Act score it can take 4 to 5 weeks before you student will know if he/she was accepted to that college or not. It may take another week to two to see if your student will get a scholarship of any kind based on grades and SAT or Act scores.
