I was walking around with my dog today, no where specific just up the road a bit and around this small town. While I was out the wind was blowing with a frigidness as I suppose a February afternoon should feel. The sun was shining bright  and occasionally dimmed behind a large cloud, but shortly returned. The sun was beckoning me through my window to go outside and bask in the slight signs that spring is sure to come. While on this adventure in nature it occurred to me how much I miss those days when friends and I would just walk around. Mainly because driving  was in our distant future and besides a bike our feet were the only things that took us places. Best of all it was something we all did together. I miss having friends near by to walk around with every day. Just something I was thinking.
