I reminisce over memories Hoy, one of the Orkney Islands in Northern Scotland.
Any one reading this might be surprised to learn that anyone could find the Orkney Islands to be a special place and well worth visiting. Strange or not, I genuinely thought the Island I travelled to was beautiful desite its desolation. I visited Hoy which as I should have said at the start of this articel, is one of the Orkney Islands Islands in the far nothern part of Scotland. At first glance tourists would likely think there is nothing to attract them to it yet they would be mistaken. Hoy is a beuatiful place with its quiet, grren fields, its native wild life, and the only pub and place to buy food on the island. Hoy provides tourists with a sense of nature, particularly for those people who are passionate natural environment and all life on it.
Hoy was undoubtedly unique for the very that there weren’t any shops, cafes, restaurants, cinemas, and other forms of entertainment for both the locals and tourists. Having the space to walk around without being hindered by fear and idstractions. For anyone who cares to philosophise, Hoy is a place where people can go if they want to experience a simpler life.
In conclusion I would recommend visiting Hoy as its space and general lack of amenities make it a special place to visit. I would visit Hoy again as well as the other Orkney Islands, as I believe they would be just as beautiful and special as Hoy.
