I never considered myself unique, but people always tell me, are a miracle. To me it was a normal guy with realistic goals and big dreams.
I thought the word, and I thought of Tom, my family and Sharon who believed so much to me when I saw the steps to my diploma from the Dean of Liberal Arts at the University of Texas, on this sunny afternoon, getting in June 1986th added to the excitement and pride filled my heart when I heard the dean announced that he had graduated with honors, was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and as one of 12 deans selected Distinguished Alumni of 1600 the College of Liberal Arts. Ju with overwhelming emotions and feelings that I experienced that moment when most of the audience gave me a standing ovation, never again to adjust my life, even when he graduated with a masters in social work and not as I am employed full time in Texas City, pain and anxiety. But I was wrong!
On 24 May 1987, I realized that nothing will ever match the joy I felt as Sharon and I were married. Sharon, high school sweetheart of nine years, had always stood by me through good times and bad times. To me, Sharon is my miracle, my diamond in a world full of pain problems and pain. It was Sharon who dropped out of school when I was bad, so that could always be with me. He has never renounced or gave me. It was faith and love that took me through many dark days. While other girls of nineteen years of age like to party and enjoy life, Sharon devoted her life to my recovery.
To me, this is the definition of love. After our beautiful wedding I continued working part time at the Pain Center and completed my work as a teacher. We were very happy, but even more so when we learned Sharon was pregnant.
On 11 July 1990 at 12:15 a.m. Sharon woke me with the message: You should go to the hospital my water broke easily. I could not help thinking how ironic that my life almost ended in a supermarket and now 7-11 on day brings a new life in this world. This time it was the turn of support to Sharon, and that helped me in recent years. I was at work for 15 hours. At 3:10 pm Sharon and I experienced the birth of our beautiful daughter, Shawn Elyse Segal! Tears of joy and happiness I felt his eyes as healthy, alert, wonderful daughter entered this world. We look forward had 10 fingers and toes and her eyes seemed to take the world top 10 for them. Is WA It is very beautiful picture that was etched in my mind forever, like waiting arms of their mothers, just minutes after birth. At that moment I thanked God for blessing us with the greatest miracle of all-Shawn Elyse Segal.
