My son together with his two other team mates, won Third Place in the Math Olympiad Interschool Competition representing his school (Elementary Department).I’m a very proud mum.
I couldn’t sleep overnight as I was so excited about my son’s Math competition.Where he would compete together with two other team mates to represent their school against 13 other schools’ group representatives. Being abroad is really difficult I have been missing alot of things. But I am just putting my son’s education first over my own happiness. Having him here in England would just disrupt the continuity of what he has started in my country.
I only have 2 years to go for my contract anyway and I could choose to live back home or stay here in England. I would like my whole family to be together and my 2 sons interests matter to me and my husband the most.
We haven’t finalized our decision yet, but one thing is sure we would like the boys to grow up together and enjoy their studies.
We miss Charles very much and hearing from my mum that he is doing very well in school has made me cry with so much pride for my dear son.
I managed to get hold of him on the phone and congratulated him and he sounded very happy. He is a happy boy, well loved by everybody for he is such a very nice and sweet boy. He is only 6 years old and in grade one and he can answer Geometry questions as early as now. Isn’t that amazing?
I promised him a Nintendo DS which he requested to have as his reward. What a smart choice. He would definitely get it this month coming from me and my mum in law. Both my mum and mother in law are very proud grandmothers to Charles.
Everybody in our family here in England were so happy to hear the good news about Charles’ team winning 3rd place in the Competition, apparently he is the highest in the individual score. We are so PROUD of you Charles!
Congratulations Charles for a job well done! We love you very much.
