This is an introduction to one of my books titled, Selected Dreams From My Dream Journal: Unleash Your True Potentials Through Dreams.

by Paul Chika Emekwulu

Listening to the queen of talk show, Oprah Winfrey on her show on July 3, 2000 as she discussed the importance of keeping gratitude journal with members of her audience made me think twice of my dream journal.  Some of the guests read and shared their journal entries with the audience.   The famous John Edwards (a channeller) has also emphasized the importance of keeping journals as a part of developing one’s intuitive abilities.  John Edwards has appeared on several national TV shows including Oprah Winfrey (ABC), Jane Pauley Show (CBS) to mention but a few etc.

Who else agrees with this concept of keeping journals? First of all, it is normal to dream dreams and normal also to have a dream journal.  In this book, I will be sharing some of my dream experiences which include flying without wings. I have flown over buildings, crowds of people, and natural vegetation etc.  The feeling is comparable to an altered state and it is.  At times it never changed for the most part. I have flown once or twice with my sisters, others are solo.  Each time I fly the feeling is the same. The feeling haying dream experience is amazing, at times for consecutive nights.  The feeling at  It is just a kind of feeling you would like to get addicted to and never want to stop.  I have had my first name called by someone in a crowd.

In my dreams, I have also listened to highly sophisticated, and subtle musical compositions.  Some of my dreams involve numbers, algebraic expressions embedded in both elementary and advanced mathematics.

I do have other dreams that are not reported here.  I regard those as extraneous and therefore, outside our domain of interest. Some of the dreams are dated while others are not because of poor records due to procrastination.

Writing down your dreams takes a lot of discipline and will power.  If you remember the full details of your dream, write it down in black and white.  Don’t trust your memory.  Review your dreams periodically in order to check  for correspondence.  Each dream starts with a title (whether the title makes sense or not, it doesn’t matter) and the date it occurred. It is better to use a title that best describes the story.  My first recorded dream starts with a dream I had way back in 1975.  It is titled, The Asa Road Triangle.
