As i got in my car I was  a little nervous i started it up and revved the engine up to get a feel for the car it was exhilarating  my heart rushed. From that point on I knew i was going to have a blast. I pulled on the track and was not at all nervous I knew i had a strong car after all i built it with my dad we spent  a good solid week on it. Then as all the cars pulled up they told us to shut down our engines. Then the announcers played the national anthem. Then the announcer clearly stated “drivers start your engines.” I  twisted the two wires together and the car turned over. 

The announcer started the count down “3″,”2″,”1″ and “GO!”

I was the first to pull out i got the fell of the track when bam! I was shock t by the raw power of another car slamming into my passenger door. Then it clicked in my head oh I’m in a demolition derby. I cant just peacefully drive around then I went ballistic hitting every ones tires BAM BAM hitting other cars and getting hit as well. Then it was down to three cars my older cousin 11A another girl whose number I cannot recall and me 16A. So me and my cousin are on a team so we took the girl out. Then it was down to me and my cousin my car was all mangled up i had lost steering so I knew that I was going to lose which didn’t bother me  one bit. I was just happy that i made it this far and i would rather lose to my cousin then to some one I don’t even know. So i tried my hardest but I had more fun earlier in the demo so i had used up all of my car and my cousin putted around more so he had more car left, but I’m positive I had more fun so i took second place and my cousin took first and we all had a great time.
