The Flashback

Nathan Holmes he is a thin boy around the age of ten and he has so many fantasies about becoming a warrior in ancient time. He is born to a very rich family that is involved in the government and all the secret missions.  His birth was unexpected.

 One day Nathan is digging around in his back yard and he finds a talisman. Its looks like a old talisman from a very long time ago. When he found it he took it to his mom to try and find out what it is.  She told him that she will look it up and tell him in the morning.  So he got ready for bed and lost him self in a deep sleep. He heard something so he went into the kitchen to see what the sound was and found the talisman glowing and shaking. He tried to stop it from bouncing around and making too much noise but when he touches it his world changed in a flash. He discovered himself in a ancient time where armies traveled on foot and horse back.       

As he starts trying to start getting his bearings an old man walks over to him and told him that he made it just in time. He doesn’t even know what he is supposed to do in this time period but it must be important. The man told him his name it Luke the Wise.

The man takes him to a local blacksmith, so the sword smith can make him a special sword that can be enchanted with a gem or with a spell. He does the same thing for the armor but the armor must be solid gold and very flexible. The man takes him back to his shack so that he can give Nathan a special necklace so that he can see the shadow warriors of the rival empire. With all these special weapons and armor the man sends him off to clear a path from the shadow warriors so that the army can have a straight shot at the castle of the empire.

He has to pass through a great forest to get to the point that the man said he should be at the end of the first day as the sun starts to fall and the moon to rise he starts running through the forest as fast as he can, so the gates of this village do not close. Soon he can see the village it is in sight as he runs faster to ensure he is safe the gates begin to close when he is half way there. The gates are almost closed and he is just outside so he slides under the gate just in time.
