Compare the fad’s of the 50’s to today’s fads.
When one thinks of fads, they like to reminiscent about the good ol’e days when they were young. There are many fads of the past, and those now, that will be fads twenty years from now.
When I was growing up I couldn’t get enough of the hula hoop, Mr. Potato Head, or slinky. If you were to mention those things to the youngsters of today, they would look at you like you were out of your mind. I probably had that very same look when my mother told me of the fads she enjoyed when she was a young girl. Now I can fully appreciate the fads of the past and the present. It defines who we are today. It’s our job as parents to pass that on to our children. There are fads of many era s, but I’m just going to stick to the 1950’s-2000’s.
