A year ago on January 6th 2010 I joined the Triond community. Over the past twelve months I have written 58 articles. I have scarcely promoted and as a result made very little money on my articles but have enjoyed my time here anyway.

The last year has been rather interesting in my personal life as well. I have graduated from College with a double Major in History and International Relations and tomorrow my best friend ships off to Marine Boot Camp. I have started working with a job in the Cellular Industry and have fallen out with a few friend and fortunately made a few new ones. The last year has been a emotional roller coaster for me and while I would never claim to be a very good writer (I am certainly very poor with grammar on the fly though when I take my time and actually edit I can write fairly well) but I still enjoy the limited about of time I put into triond very much.

I will admit I have written some fairly well written things and some piles of junk but I was just about to go to bed when looking through my articles I noticed it was a year ago today around this time of night (4AM, CST) that I joined the Triond Party… My oh my how time flies when your having fun…

Below are a few of the articles I have written over the past year. The first two links are for my very first articles at Triond, published on the 6th and 7th of January 2010. They are my most popular articles to date, the other articles below it are just a few other interesting things I have posted over the last year.

The 2010 NFL MVP: Five Worthy Candidates

The Chinese Civil War: 1927-1949

Physical Attraction: Traits or Racism?

Dwight D. Eisenhower’s 1861 Farewell Address

Analysis of Excerpts From The Influence of Sea Power Upon History, 1600-1783 (1890) by Alfred Thayer Mahan

You might not have earned a lot at Triond but you surely have reached a milestone in your life when you graduated and had your new job. Congratulations! I’m new here and I hope I could get to write about my anniversary, too, when I reach my first year in Triond. :-)

Hi, I just wrote of my first month reflection at Triond too just a week or so ago. It’s always encouraging that people stay on the journey despite ups and downs in life. Who knows? Someday, you might be encouraging me too. Cheers.
