I went to copenhagen and wrote something about it.

The whole 8th grade was in Copenhagen in week 35, Monday the 25th to Friday the 29th

Monday : The trip started early Monday morning, where the A class met at 7:30 a.m. When everyone arrived, we went over to the train.

The trip to Copenhagen was with an X-train so it didn’t take as long as the other classes. We had a lot of fun in the train-trip, which took us about 4 hours.

We arrived to Copenhagen central station around 12 p.m. After that we took another train to Helsingør. Around 1 p.m. we were in Helsingør, where we took a bus to the hostel. Then we relaxed, and had a nice time at the hostel the rest of the day, where we also got dinner.

Tuesday: We walked to Helsingør, after we got breakfast in the hostel. We saw three things there: First, we went to Sct. Maria’s church, which is a Roman-Catholic church, where they pray to Maria instead of Jesus.

After that we went to Kronborg, which is a castle from the 1420’s. It was very big, and there was some interesting stuff in there like Holger Danske, and there was a great view from the towers. We had lunch there, and after that we took the bus to the Technical Museum.

There was cars, airplanes, and a lot of old technical things. For example was there some of the oldest computers, laptops and mobile phones. I think, it was exciting with all the technology and old machines.

Then we went back to the hostel to get dinner, and had fun there the rest of the day.

Wednesday: We walked to Helsingør after breakfast, and took the bus to Copenhagen central station.

In Copenhagen we saw the Eksperimentarium, which is a place where you experiment, and can try things with water, soap bubbles, car-accidents and a lot of other fun and educational stuff.

After that we went to Statens Museum for Kunst, which is an art gallery. At the Museum there was a special exhibition about picture frames, where they had put frames, into other picture frames, and also a lot of empty frames. It was a little boring I think.

Later we went to the amusement park called Tivoli where you could try a lot of rides and eat dinner.
