I went to copenhagen and wrote something about it.
Before we went to the amusement park, we got 150kr for food. It was very fun in the amusement park, and there were a lot of fun rides.
Around 11 p.m. we walked to the central station, which were right next to the amusement park. Then we took the train back to Helsingør and after that the bus to the Hostel.
Tuesday: Tuesday was an optional day, where we could choose between 6 Tours:
Tour 1 – Christiania and harbourtrip.
Tour 2 – The Bodies exhibition and Christiania.
Tour 3 – Worker museum and harbourtrip.
Tour 4 – Rosenborg castle and Amalienborg castle.
Tour 5 – Rundetårn and Planetarium.
Tour 6 – Zoo and Carlsberg brewer.
But it was only the four of them, that were chosen enough to make a tour out of it – Tour 1, 2, 5 and 6. So instead of Tour 3 and 4 they made two groups with Tour 1 and 2.
The day started at the hostel with breakfast. Then we walked to Helsingør, and took the train to Copenhagen central station, where we met with the other persons from all tours.
While we waited on each other, somebody from TV2 came, and interviewed some from our grade, and they came in a TV show called Good Evening Demark on TV2.
After that we went separate ways with our groups.
I was on Tour 5, so my group went to Planetarium first. But when we came there, we found out that the exhibition was temporary closed, so we couldn’t see it. That was kind of annoying, but instead we saw some 3D movies – first 3 small free movies with 3D glasses in a small theater, and then a long movie in the big theater. The 3 small movies was very fun with a lot of nice effects, but in the long film was a little boring in the end, because there were too many details in.
When we were finished at the Planetarium, we went to Rundetårn which is a big round tower in the middle of Copenhagen. At the top of Rundetårn there was a great view all over Copenhagen. When we came down again, we separated from the group, and shopped on the pedestrian street called Strøget in about two hours. Then the whole grade met at town hall square to get money for food, and then we went eating. After eating and chilling in about an hour we met again at central station, where we took the train back to Helsingør and then the bus to the hostel.
Friday: After we packed our things, we got breakfast at the hostel, and walked to Helsingør. From there we took at train to central station, but it stopped earlier because of technical problems, so we had to change train. Then we arrived to Copenhagen central station, and we reached our train to Aalborg, although we had to change trains. Then we had a good time in the train about 4 hours, before we came home to Aalborg, where we all separated.
Conclusion: All in all I think it was a great and educational trip, where the whole grade was shaken together. There came a good unity between the classes and the new pupils, and we also learned new things about Copenhagen’s history and culture.
