A reflection of an educator whose role is to lead the young in building character and trust.
As an educator, I play a very vital role inside the classroom. I serve as a classroom manager. I should see to it that the basic aspects of classroom management are in good condition, that includes instructional materials and discipline. I firmly believe in discipline through reinforcement to enhance Student performance. I always think of creating favorable and interesting Teaching-Learning activities or situations for good discipline.
As my parting words, Horace Mann answer the question “ Who should teach?” and he answered:
…… A young man or woman, whose education is sound, whose language is well selected, whose pronunciation and tones of voice are correct, whose manners are gentle and refined, all of whose topics of conversation are elevating and instructive whose benignity of heart is constantly manifested in acts of civility, courtesy and kindness, and who spreads nameless charm over whatever circle may be entered.
With this Mann’s answer I am so much inspired, it made me as an effective teacher, characteristics that could be of great help to get a teaching position in your school or district. Thank you and God Bless
“It is not easy to lift yourself when everything seems to be constantly pulling you down” I could never forget the day when my superior, the assistant schools division superintendent is not in her moods to promote. I think that was the greatest failure I’d ever had. I exerted my time, my effort and even my heart to be a deserving candidate to become the head teacher-III in our school
Despite of the hardships, trials and challenges I face, in the end I got the position.
I would elaborate more what happened but rest assure that I fought for my right without anyone affected. I still believe to pursue my goals and make it a reality, and that is to become -PRINCIPAL.
