There was no internet connection for me for the past couple of days; I thought I couldn’t do anything productive as I don’t have access to the Internet. To my astonishment, I was able to do many nice things; however, I missed some. Let me first share about things I enjoyed doing when there was no Internet connection with you all.

I was able to spend quality time with my 4-year old daughter. She loves coloring, watching Dora, Noddy, Tom and Jerry, and Mickey Mouse. I too colored and watched television with her. We both enjoyed our snacks together. We played all through the day yet I didn’t feel tired. We discussed many things. It was a time that helped us to understand each other better. She used to share anything and everything that happens in her school to me every day. This continued when there was no net and what is important is that she was able to share more things with me; as I had no other work I was able to give my full attention to her. It was like looking back at my childhood days.

I love origami. I engaged myself in origami and did some wonderful things. I did a small boat for my daughter to play with it. It was raining here and we made numerous small paper boats and played with them in the rain. I did some flowers and decorated the living room with it. I made a small rat with eggplant. My daughter really loved it.

My other passion is cooking. I tried various interesting lip smacking recipes and really had a wonderful treat. I caught up with few of my friends with whom I lost touch. Above all, I cleared the clutter in my bedroom. There were so many things lying on the room that are of no use; I cleaned them, threw some that I don’t require and with some, I made some ear-rings and neck-pieces.

Do you know what I missed during this time of net outage? I missed those beautiful articles and lovely poems of my fellow Trionders. I was unable to read them and give my comments.

This is the time when I understood that apart from writing, there are many things that I am interested in. Next time, there is a net outage I really wouldn’t mind it as I can purse my other interests.
