Nostradamus is up and running and slowly consuming the World of peace I give my very personal views.

9/11 Terror attacks.

Sporadic bombings and execution style murders are starting all over again in Northern Ireland.  I grew up in London under the constant threat of Northern Irish terrorist attacks, and I heard the Canary Warf bomb explosion.  I was also a few streets away when the co-founder of the record breakers program Ross Mcwhirter was gunned down by the IRA in Enfield London.

There are too many examples of war and terrorism on our planet to list in any one article.  I do feel in my short time on this planet that right now 2010 the World is a very unstable and violent place to live.  I do fear for the safety of my partner and my family and all my friends.  I am not rocking myself to sleep in fear of attack, but I am aware this planet of ours is a very unstable and unhappy place.

Is there one reason for all this violence and murder? Is our planet becoming so overcrowded that there is not enough space for all of the human community to get along?  The World wide recession has not helped matters of global peace.  However many of the examples of war or terrorism were carried out when the World markets were booming.

The London 7/7 Terror attacks.

As America and Russia scale back their Nuclear weapons program other countries are clambering to be a Nuclear weapons capable country, where will this new Nuclear race finish?  Britain where I live has recently committed to upgrading and replacing our Nuclear Trident missile system.  Is it safer to be a player on the Nuclear scene or opt out of the Nuclear deterrent scheme.

I was born in the 1960s I remember Viet Nam, I remember the Falklands war, I remember the first Iraq and the second Iraq war.  I remember Russia fighting in Afghanistan and now the coalition forces are fighting in Afghanistan.  However I have never felt so threatened on so many fronts.  I feel the World is a very unstable and violent place to live in 2010 and beyond.

I do not know the answer to the Nostradamus scenario that the World is playing out globally.  I do know that Michel’s prediction in 1555 is looking more likely to become true now than any other time I can remember. I welcome your views on this worrying dilemma we are all facing.  whether we are Muslim Christian black white or green we are all being touched by global terrorism and violence.

It really gives me a chill every time I heard things happened as predicted. Sound even scary hearing the Nostradamus view of the future. But one thing I will continue to hold on, our God is bigger than anything or whatever will happen. May his guidance and protection be with us all.

The history of mankind is strewn with violence and death. Yet, man fails to learn from all these. Rather, violence is use as a means to achieve one’s goal. How sad!
    Nice share.

Regardless of what religion, color, or caste you are, I would say we must all try out means to put an end to this madness.

The world does indeed at times appear to be a chilling place, but that is not peculiar to our times, My parents lived through the horror of the Second World War and My Grandparents through the first, must have felt like the end of days to them but we came through. Thought provoking piece as usual LB
