One day I visited with a lady that wanted to buy my books.

 I was a sales-person and showed people books to help their children learn to read. While I showed the mommy the books a little red kitten jumped into my sales bag and peeked out at me. I laughed and tried to get it out but it bit me. “Ouch,!” I shouted and jumped back. The lady tried to get the little cat out but it meowed and then scratched her. It did not want to come out of my bag, it crawled deeper into the bottom and fell asleep. We all wondered what to do. The lady got a towel and gloves and decided to try it again but this time quietly reaching in while the kitten was asleep. She reached in and jumped back because the kitten let out a loud screech and jumped out and ran into a corner. Well, at least the kitten was out, we laughed and shook hands and I took my bag and put it in the car. I started driving and suddenly a little warm, fuzzy thing jumped into my lap and curled up in it. The kitten came home with me. The lady gave up and told me , “The cat chose it’s new owner and it is you!” True story, he was a wild and funny cat.  We had him for 20 years and named him Rambo! I miss him very much!
