Growing up is so different than when I grew up, but I am grateful my son comes to me for permission.

Our Children, Sex and Growing Up

Our children are so precious to us and yet we get to a point that we cannot control what they do and say. They ask if their love one can spend the night, then in the morning we find they pushed the issue. Together they lie together, what do we say? What do we do?

He calls and asks me for permission,  “ Can my girlfriend spend the night” and I am so honored, cause I know I never asked, sitting there beside myself, I tell him I must call him back. I tell him since I am out of town I would rather she go home, and then I tell him to respect my home and wishes.

We try our best to bring them up right and yet they catch us off guard. We tell them what we want, and hope they will obey; and yet if they don’t, they are only growing up!
