An augury-dream I had last night about other world beings coming to Earth.

In my sleep I was in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea with Marissa and my father.  I grew up in Port Moresby and was very pleased to be back.  I looked around the town noticing changes to it – buildings I knew being demolished, replaced with new ones.

I was shown a map.  I could see clearly from the map, I had just been handed, that it was some kind of aircraft landing site.  This curious airport was underground, it appeared, in fact underneath the very seat of power in Port Moresby, Waigani, where the government has it’s offices.  It came as no surprise to me, for I knew that Waigaini had previously been a stand-in airfield during the Second World War.  I took a good look at this map, it seemed as if the landing site was underneath the ground.  The map reminded me of photos I had seen of the Nazca lines, spectacular lines on the surface of the Peruvian desert that were only discovered in modern times, when we started to use aerial photography.  This map reminded distinctly of the Nazca lines.

“How strange,” I wondered, “there is an airport underground, under the Government offices?”  I heard a voice reply, “Yes. Let me take you there.”

Although I was with my friend and my father, they were mere companions. My father was dressed in fluorescent fatigues and he appeared younger, as if on a mission. Marissa seemed happy to come along.  Next thing you know, we were underground, about a kilometer below the surface.  We were now inside a huge cavern, the size of three football fields, which had an arcane, mysterious and undiscovered feeling to it. I knew this cave was many eons old.  Below me I could see sea water.  This place had been hidden for many centuries.

As I looked around I could see several circular, stone daises decorated with stone carvings; the same as those I had seen on Mexican pyramids. The carvings had googly eyes and poking tongues. Each dais had three carvings placed on the compass points and staring blankly into their hidden realm.  The entire place looked exactly like something out of a book about a lost Latin American civilisation.
