What are pimples? What feelings can they evoke? Are they a threat to national security?
Pimples; the most hated phase of growing-up by the youth society, also called a zit. The stage when bumpy red dots that could possibly be mistaken for as a volcano will take over your face and practically cause you your dignity and pride at school.
One of my classmates, whose name I will not mention, had a numerous number of pimples in her face. Every time we talk, I can’t focus on the conversation we’re having because I’m too distracted by the big, red, shiny pimple on her forehead. It was practically eating her face. It was so weird because it was like a volcano waiting for its time of eruption. It was insane.
There was this time I had one on the tip of my nose, trust me, I never made it out of the house. The treacherous pimple sitting on the tip of my nose was preventing me from going out to the public or even at school. I had to force my mom to write me an excuse letter saying that I have serious medical conditions just so I could skip school.
Pimples can evoke different kinds of emotions to teens. For example, they can make us feel pity over ourselves because of the fact that our face was the one chosen to be invaded by these mindless pimples of doom, embarrassment and death. They can make us feel insecure every time we look at the mirror. They can make us feel ignored when it’s taking all of the attention of the person we’re talking to. And they can also make us feel anger and anxiety every time you touch your face and suddenly everything’s bumpy and rough.
Because these face invaders can evoke different emotions to the face owner, emotions that can be very violent, a person with a zit can be very dangerous. Therefore, they can be a threat.
Pimples. Very dangerous and annoying.
