I thought for the longest time that I put this behind me and move on, till I received that call! I have been a long time customer with this cellular company. When I said a long time, I meant a decade or so. I had problems at the beginning and I stayed with them. Back then, I couldn’t keep my phone number if I switched to a different company. I stayed and stayed. I finally had enough and went with a company which later on merged with this company. To make a l.

To make a long story short, I was going to switch to a better company. I called and tried to confirm my pass code so when I switch, I would not have any problem. Of course, the representative wanted to keep me as a customer. So I let her talk me into it! Stupid me, isn’t it? That’s the beginning of my nightmare!

I was promised a package of this amount. I hardly use my phone anyway. It sounded like a good deal. So, I continued my contract with the company for another two years. I bought a phone which costs me $150. The first bill came in the mail, to my surprise, it was incorrect. So, like everyone else, get on the phone and tried to straighten it out with them. The representative said it was all taken care of. I trusted her words. The next bill came, more less the same situation with the billing error! I finally had it! I wrote to the CEO of the company which they encourage you to do so. An executive officer of the company finally called me and tried to correct their problems. I was asked to prove what was said between the initial representative and me. I sent them copy of the contract and all the correspondences between us. The executive officer gave me the option of canceling my contract with them after I bought my phone and spent $150 on it! Nice! Oh, you will get a kick out of this. She said the monthly charge for my package is like, these were her words….” It’s like, we are giving you the service for free, Ms. Chan!” My jaws just dropped and misbelieve, I said to her, ” Excuse me, Jamie. First of all, I did not want to stay with your company. You wanted to retain me as a customer. Second of all, if I paid one cent, I am your customer!” Hell, I paid more than one cent, of course, along with all the aggravation!
