My second pregnancy and my boy.
Hi everyone!
This is about my experience with my second pregnancy. If you have read my other entry about stretch marks, then this is no surprise to you, but I use the mixture still during this pregnancy. I think it’s because of that mixture that I have yet to get back the really dark line that goes right up the middle of a pregnant belly. And my current stretch marks aren’t stretching anymore either. I’m 29 weeks pregnant with this baby.
My first baby was a girl. She was a tiny little thing at birth, weighing only 6lbs, 9oz. But she was 20″ long. Healthy as can be. I was scheduled for more than one ultrasound to check her size because they thought she was measuring kinda small, and alas… I am headed down the same path with this baby.
I went into my ultrasound and the lady said everything looked fine, but he was measuring a little small for the due date I was given. He was also being a Contortionist inside my belly. He had his arms, hands, and feet up over his head, making it impossible to get a picture of him in 3D. Because of his small size, they have me scheduled for another ultrasound, I am happy for that because I should be able to get a better picture, or at least a picture of him. I’ll be happy of that.
What else… The baby’s dad wants to name him Caleb. Don’t get me wrong, I like the name, it’s just over popular right now. He doesn’t care, that’s what he wants the baby’s name to be. I just wish he would choose something similar, that would be nice. I guess we still have 2 months to see if he changes his mind.
This little boy is being quite different from my first baby. He’s either pushing up on my belly and making me sit back, or pushing down on my pelvis. UG.. not to mention that he keeps kicking my side, especially when I’m trying to sleep. My little girl was so nice and didn’t beat me up too much. I can watch this one move my belly and make it roll, then when he’s turning himself all around, it makes me feel weird and not very good. But yes, this is all things that happen with this little boy, and my second pregnancy… Now I just have to wait and see if I will need to be induced with this one as well.
- My first baby’s delivery was quite quick and easy, I was induced and about 2 or three hours later I was starting to go into labor. It lasted about 2-2:30 hrs, then two good pushes and she was out. Granted, they had to turn off the pitocin, and I didn’t have time to adjust to the labor, thus, I wasn’t breathing right and they had to put me on Oxygen for a few minutes, cause my fingers were going numb. – But over all, the Pitocin wasn’t that bad. When I have this baby, I’ll have to write again and say all the differences between this delivery and the first one.
For now… I’m waiting………
