Upon discovering a diary which belonged to a girl named Alice, we are thrown into the unique perspective of the world which revolves around her.
Looking back on the short decades of my life, I realized I didn’t give it much credit.
I’m actually pretty lucky.
Funny, I just realised this since I never considered myself lucky.
I grew up in a loving family with many pleasant memories.
The process of growing up may be sprinkled with awkwardness, frustrations and stress, but I’m proud of who I am now.
I got a bunch of loving friends & an irreplacable second family.
I may not have met my significant other, but I have faith.
I’m passionate about travelling and I’m lucky enough to have been to various corners of the globe.
I’ve been to Australia (Melbourne), Brunei, Cambodia, Dubai, France (Paris, Toulouse & Carcasonne), Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea (Seoul), Vietnam and Malaysia (Penang, JB, Miri, Kuantan, Kuala Terengganu, Redang island, Pulau Tinggi, Labuan, Manukan island, Gaya island, Sandakan, Keningau, Kundasang, Ranau and of course lovely Kota Kinabalu.)
I rather think its a blessing to see so many parts of the world and I’m thankful for every choice I made which lead me to this path.
I know the recent months has taken a toll on my perspective of life but I stand by my current quote:
“Only by moving forward, are we able to find what we are searching for.”
In the end, if you ask me, I’d say I’m pretty darned lucky.
