Never underestimate the power of your childhood dreams. Make them come true with inner courage and drive.

Journalism, especially photo journalism, inspired me and I began to experiment with writing and photography, this is one dream I have kept alive by writing my blogs.

Along with lack of resources, time or will power, there are other factors that sometimes become a wall between us and our dreams. One such thing for me was, unexplained apprehension and fear, and it stopped me from realizing my dreams.

I was and still am, scared of many things people will find very funny, for instance, driving, I just can’t understand why I get cold feet, whenever someone says “learn to drive, girl”. I just can not muster up the courage and that too, when I love speed.
I have driven the fastest of cars, jeeps n bikes in my dreams and just loved it.

Using an elevator, going on a Ferris wheel, roller coaster or cable car, still makes my heart beat faster.

I always wanted to be part of adventure sports specially rafting, paragliding, bungee jumping, to name a few. I did some of them during my youth hostel and NMNH (National Museum of Natural History) days. But, I wanted to do them all in the true sense of the word.

..It’s one dream I want to achieve soon.

Flying a single engine aircraft excites me and one fine day I am going to do it .It seems like a perfect substitute to having wings .I still get goose pimples thinking about the feeling of freedom and control up in the air among the clouds .hopefully I will get over the fear of flying .

These are some of my dreams I would like to achieve before I embark on the journey beyond. :

* Fly the Cessna or at least be a co passenger.

* Do some adventure sport

* Learn to play Drums / Octapad

* Drive to Ladakh and many such enchanting places hidden in the Himalayas.

* Make a small lovely cottage with a garden and a pond and a tree house.

* Visit the places I love.  Middle East , Greece, Southern Spain, The Grand Canyon, Great Barrier Reef, etc.

* Spend some time in Osho Commune in Pune.

* Hold a traditional Katana (The samurai sword) in my hands if not own one.

* Learn belly dancing /salsa and tai chi

* Do a desert safari and visit Serengeti National Park

* And the biggest dream is to

****Gather ample resources to fulfill all my dreams. ******
