Now call me all the names you like, but, and I want you to remember I do Recycle. Recycling causes pollution!!!! All recycling is done in big, BIG factories, using a lot of heat, or water, or electricity! When we reuse, all the production has been done!!

So I already pay half the amount (well almost) I paid for my car, on road Tax! But that’s not enough apparently? Because I’m killing the planet, so I must pay more. It’s not enough that 80% of what I pay for fuel is Tax, or that I pay council Tax, I don’t pay enough for the right to drive on the road! I’m told to cycle, or take a bus or train. Now there are problems with these options!

I used to cycle to work, and it scared the bejesus out of me. Because there are so many crap drivers out there, who are to busy on the phone, or tuning the radio, or picking their nose, or just being stupid, to notice you are there. But even better than that, when you are knocked off, no one stops to help! I mean it….. I was knocked off my bike on the way to work, I was unconscious and I smashed my face, cut my leg and my arm, and busted a few ribs. Then a nice lady came along and phoned an ambulance, and while we waited for it to arrive she told me four cars pulled round me. Buses, big, smelly and mainly old, when I get on a double decker with two other passengers, how is this more ecologically efficient. The same goes for the train, and that’s without taking into account it costs more than the tax on my car to travel to London!

The only option I can see is to get an even older car, which is exempt from road tax. That way I dodge another Tax? And maybe I could then convert it to run on chip fat!! You mat laugh, but this does work. That way I dodge two Taxes! I’m getting good at this Tax dodging thing.
