In my room there are numerous objects: a desk for studying; a chest of drawers for storage; a bed for sleeping and other disparate objects that may be scattered across the floor at different times.

The bed, in the corner consists of a mattress, a blanket and a pillow. A bed sheet envelops the mattress. This bed sheet has a square tessellation on it. The squares are quite miniature. The two colours used in the pattern are light blue and white. There are two layers for blankets, a red one and a white one. The red one goes on the bottom and the white one goes on top. Both have simple patterns on them similar to the bed sheet. The frame is made of unadorned, light coloured wood and some metal. Under the bed I keep many miscellaneous paraphernalia that I can just reach under to access. Many of them include books, magazines and newspapers that I can just reach down to read. There are also infrequently portable electronic devices. In the more inaccessible corner beneath my bed I stockpile the old playthings that I do not play with anymore.

The desk and chair in my room are also manufactured of the same shade of wood. The chair has a cushion on it to provide a soft surface to sit on. The chair has four legs and no wheels. The back part has four poles. The desk is made wood and stands on four legs also. A set of drawers are attached to the desk. These drawers use knobs (a darker shade of brown) to open them and accumulate items not currently in use and old papers from previous years. On the desk are some immaculately stacked books and papers (most of the time), a pencil box, a lamp to supply extra light during the night and a laptop computer when it is needed. The workspace, where homework is done is currently occupied by this workbook (or computer). The stacked sheets are mainly associated with school, unless there may be a few books that are currently being read. The lamp is grey and constructed of metal and plastic. It has a light saving 15 watt fluorescent bulb that emits a soft white glow. A black cord attaches it to a power socket. To switch it on there is a small switch that is connected on to part of the power cable. The light is currently facing downwards toward the workspace, but is not currently turned on. The pencil case is green and contains most of the stationary that is necessary for work. It has two zip pockets that are separated by some pockets in between to store small pieces of paper or other mixed items. The zip is coloured black and there is another front pocket with a zip to collect more items that are diminutive.

The large chest of drawers is again made of wood and painted white. There are drawers for different clothes at diverse times (summer and winter). A handle protrudes from the drawer also painted white. It is a short pole that has been bended to form a rectangle. You would clasp the handle and pull to open the drawer. Attached to this is a polished wardrobe that stores clothes that require hanging and other things that are thrown at the bottom surface. Another knob of a darker shade of brown is use to swing the wardrobe open.

A window faces the street. It is open able using another knob. A mesh has been installed to keep out pests. The wall has a typical cream colour. The door which allows access into the room is wooden and painted white. It has a metal handle that, when twisted downwards (not very far), open the door. The area where the floor joins the wall, there is a white protuberance from the wall. The floor is made of wood and exposed. There is no carpet but it is polished. On the corners of the roof there are straightforward patterns made of curved rectangles. The light bulb is in the equidistant position of the roof and is an energy-saving fluorescent one. It is made of tubes coiled up that contain the gas that radiate light when an electric current in them. They are energy efficient, but the only inconvenience of these lights is that when you turn them on, they are very dim at first and need to ‘charge up’ for a while before they retain their conventional illumination.
