I think I’m going to try and blog every day after work. It’s a tall order me – Ryan, the Great Doer Who Does Naught – telling myself that I’m going to do the same thing every day at the same time. But I know it’s something I need to try and do. It’s just as pompous for me to call myself a writer while not writing as it is to use the word pompous. I have no right to call myself a writer, a musician, or artist if I do none of those things, if all I do is sit around and do nothing while worrying about the things I don’t have and the things I do have and wish I didn’t.

So here I am.

Starting today, not only am I going to write every day and post every day. I am going to try my best to follow and use fully every lead I have. This means every open mic, every contest, every offer, everything. And it’s going to start with this: Open Mic Challenge.

This looks like a good opportunity to at least try and get some exposure. I can even plug Fogwood.

And there’s more than just music. I’ll be posting this blog in several different places now. I have at least five places to post. So there.
