A woman.
See Me for who I am,
Flesh and blood, a woman born with compassion of heart
Not just a pretty face to hang on your arm
See me, for who I am,
An individual with a mind of her own and feelings that can be hurt with a thoughtless word,
See me, for who I am, a vessel of life,
Sacred and holey even though the price is high,
See me for I am; a person, a being, someone that should be cherished and held high, for I am the giver of life.
See me for I am; an equal, a partner, a friend for life.
See me for I am,
Not a doormat, a punching bag, or a child to torment for life,
Do me wrong and you will pay,
Maybe on a perfect day, not by my hand or any ill wish of fate, but by the seed u have sewn and you will see what they reap.
But when misery visits you and you truly experience hell, you will see my face shining bright…all within your tormented mind.
