I sat down and figured that the best way to get to know my thoughts and be creative is to keep a live journal to reflect on thoughts, and also to share my stories with other people.  I am listening to Green Day which is my favorite band because they were since I was a teenager.  But they really are great performers and they have always spoken about emotions that I can relate to in life.  Many of years I have always appreciated there work but in my mind I listened to the new album 21st century breakdown and wasn’t really impressed.  The only song on my husband’s playlist is 21 guns, which is a really melodic rhythm like the slower songs from American Idiot.  The rest of the songs are really weak in my opinion.  I miss the Green Day from the 97 Nimrod album the crazy free loving spunky attitude.  I know that Green Day will always evolve into something new because they are always creating a new sound, but what is this new sound?  I am confused with their new work and I hope that they will move on in a better direction in life, I feel after the pain and suffering that has happened in this country that many artists are trying to survive in this breakdown society.  But they need to revolutionize there music so we can become stronger as a nation, no wonder the best music from the 70’s era, because they lived life to inspire not to live in corruption.  I am one for looking at the world as opportunities for change, and this is the new age, the first beginning to an end.
