The prose probes the question of self identity asked by everyone at some stage in life, "Who am I?". Which begs the question about the (I), one’s ego, in comparison to the Being whom one actually is.
So then; “Who am I?” - By Vaughan Jones
I speak of my body,
I am not the body,
It belongs to me.
I speak of my mind,
I am not the mind,
It also belongs to me.
I speak of my brain,
So I am not the brain;
It also belongs to me.
Therefore – who am I?
Am I not the energy being,
Who inhabits and uses these,
The body, the mind and the brain?
A miraculous, superior being,
An inetergral part of Reiki,
The Universal Life Force Energy.
Created to nurture and care
For Earth and mother nature,
Intended to dwell in peace and love.
Thus the true essence of ONE,
ONE Life, ONE Love, ONE Energy,
Being ONE with Life, ONE with NOW.
