Hello, once again I’m Dale. This is the second rant in my series. Today I’ll rant and talk about labeling, stereo typing, etc. whatever you want to call it. I hope you guys enjoy this. So lets get to the topic!

1: First of i want to say, MOST “STEREO TYPES” CAME FROM SOMETHING THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE STEREO TYPE!Here is a prime example. Emo. It started as a music style in the 80s and has now developed to mean something different entirely. Emo was basically just a style for the people whom listened to that music. Now it means a depressed wrist slashing noob, or so that is what the stereo type is. In reality emo is just a style so please just because someone is emo doesn’t mean they cut or are depressed all the time, and vice versa. just because some cuts or is depressed all the time doesn’t make them emo! Emo is just one of the many examples, its just the easiest to show my meaning with. The same goes for all styles. SO PLEASE STOP THE STEREO TYPING! and for those of you who know better then keep up the good work! Remember to talk to your friends about it and comment!

2: If you claim to have a certain style (prep, emo, skater, scene, etc) PLEASE DO NOT SAY IT BECAUSE YOU DO SOMETHING THAT’S “STEREO TYPICAL” OF THAT STYLE!Your just adding fuel to the fire for stereo typers. Once again i will use emo as an example. If you say your emo because you cut yourself your WRONG!If you happen to be emo and you do cut, then that is your choice, but do not say that your emo because of it. Your emo because of your style not because you cut yourself. There is a name for people who say they are a certain style because they do something stereo typical of the style: POSERS. So please do not help out the stereo typers by being a poser. Discuss with friends and get back to me!

3: If you disagree with someones style please… DO NOT BE A JERK ABOUT IT! They choose to be that way, let it be. Some people may disagree with your style as well! Just let them live how they want unless they are hurting you in any form or fashion by being that way. By the way, let me make something clear. I do not think that everyone belongs to a certain style. Some may stick to their style closer than anyone but everyone is still unique. Talk to your friends about it and comment!
