A description of a great friend that I wrote awhile ago. She was a love interest, yet something really didn’t work out between us. I was going to add a picture…but since I don’t have her permission, I am going to keep it just text.

The day that I met her was quite a long time ago, so long in fact, that I can’t remember the date. I do remember it was bible club however, and she had an attitude that the world seemed like a fruitful place.

A year passed, then two, science class came upon us, and routine seat changes eventually made us lab partners. She laughed at my jokes like no one else did, and she always seemed to have a smile on her face. Her white face was ghostly, covered in make up to hide her pain, while her hair reached down to her shoulders with a whip-like crack. I wondered if anything would ever allow me to be close to her, but I knew that friends is all we’d ever be, for she didn’t see me the way that I saw her.

Another year passed and went, senior year had just made its way around the corner, when I found out more truth than anyone would have ever wanted to know, the pain of her past, and her drive to overcome. She was one in a million and any shot that I might have had at more than “just friends” I blew out with lips pressed to an open flame. I rushed my healing, from a broken heart, and kissed her goodbye, in one flailed swoop.

She has the power that everyone wishes they had the ability to make others fall in love. She smiles, though people had abused her, and her precious soul. Music filled, and geared for perfection, she reaches out to brush the world, spreading her joy for all to see. Many love her, and she knows this fact. Yet she stays on her path, letting nothing get in her way, sometimes showing brutality and leaving others behind. She loves what she does, and nothing else. People’s opinions of her are the least of her worries, and she doesn’t plan on opening up to another heartbreaker. Many pursue her, I was one of the many, yet no one will find her heart, because as most know, she’ll never share it for her journey is over, and right now…it has just begun.

And for the record she liked me too, and we did go out for a week, but as I mentioned uptop some things happend.
