Many parents are amazed when they find someone’s kid eats vegetable.
Alexander is seven years old. He is just like any other little kid who likes to play, turn our living room to a playground quickly. Well, maybe there is a little bit different about him. He likes vegetables, most of the vegetables, especially Asian vegetables. While I consider this is the most normal thing, other parents are amazed, “How do you do that?” They would asked as if it is a complicated math problem.
“Well, just cook it and serve.” It is a matter of fact. Kids are largely influenced by their parents. They pick up words or phrases which we use frequently, they pick up motions which they witness we gesture often, they would eat what we eat. Growing up in China, eating fresh vegetable is part of my daily life. It is a simple concept to approach health. I learn it from my parent, now I am giving it to my kid. Yes, Alexander eats vegetable, fresh vegetables, a lot of them. He is healthy, happy and smart.
