Making a choice to do something that might look frightening
can be a surprisingly wonderful experience.

10 years ago, I was married with three wonderful boys,

gentle men at their best; a pain in the rear at their worse,

I couldn’t ask for better children. When I decided to say

goodbye to married life, I thought long, hard, weigh the

odds, and made a choice. It was hard in the beginning,

but every uphill climb, every fall and every struggle I was

happy because it was my choice. I went places and did

things I never thought I would (nothing illegal). I made some

great friends; those that didn’t care to stay around went their

merry way. For the pass, three plus years I have been

working at Popeyes; became Supervisor in my first year and

expects to go even higher. I like what I do; I enjoy serving

and interacting with the customers, you meet many interesting

and not so nice people but I like it all the same. As it

approaches the end of

10 years, life is not perfect but it is

wonderful, I do not regret my decision. My plans for the next

10 years; is to continue my journey to being a better more

productive person.

You never said whether you were in an abusive marriage or not, or if you took the boy with you. I’m glad that things have worked out for you, and hope for you’re continued growth and happiness. Well done friend.
